Without name calling, can we discuss the differences between Trump and Rand Paul?

Both seem to be lightening rods and both have fanatical followers. I don't mean that in a negative way - they both produce strong emotions. Paul is a Libertarian (mostly) and Trump is a blended Republican/Democrat. Both are seen as outsiders that bring a new/different perspective to Washington. What is the major differences in their platforms/policy/ideology?

Class. Eloquence, knowledge of American government operations, global affairs, and intelligence. Rand Paul far outshines Donald Trump. Although I don't agree with his perspective that we withdraw from the world affairs, I understand his logic. I have been unable to discern any logic or practical explanations for most of his proclamations. But it is a moot point.

SP5 Christine Conley - I'm not sure who is advising him. I'm not sure he is listening to anyone just yet. I thought George W. had some good advisors and some not so good. Condeleeza Rice was brilliant. Colin Powell, Gates, and there were many others.

SFC Bernard Walko - I am not sure anyone would say them to describe Trump. I get it that he is the Duck Dynasty presidential candidate which is appealing to many, but I was describing what I believe are major differences. In policy, I don't believe the Lubertarian would want war, and I'm afraid with Trump many Americans will be put in harms way to destroy an ideology without thinking through the long term strategy. Nuclear weapons should not be an option.

CSM Charles Hayden, consider it a RFI. As I mentioned, I'm not very familiar with the Rand family. There is a wealth of information in this forum and I learned a lot.
