SPC(P) Angelia Legler bring a great pair of hearing protection. I found that when dealing with explosives I prefer a different style of hearing protection than others or the foam ones that they have at the range for those who do not have any.

Thank you for the advice Sir. Fortunately being a 12B and handling demolition regularly I'm always stocked with foam ear plugs!

It is amazing and you will learn more than you can imagine. study up on your formulas and pretty much just familiarize yourself with the Demolition Card and you should be fine. Have you done Urban Breaching before? If so, did you have to calculate the NEW/SSOD?

Yes I'm very familiar with Urban Breaching as a 12B SGT! I suspect I was slotted for the course because I'm consistently giving classes on priming knots, demo calcs, finding the NEW and MSD's! I'm looking forward to the class

Gotcha, well brother it sounds as if you're definitely on the right track, keep it up and have fun, breaching was always my favorite part of being a 12B. Count yourself fortunate! I know a lot of soldiers who haven't been able to get the experience of being on urban breaching teams more than once or twice so it sounds like your leadership are top notch.

Much appreciated SGT! My leadership is great and they truly believe in investing in the joes. Being a minority female in my company I've worked hard to not let stereotypes get in the way and I take my job very seriously, and everyone I work with knows that.

There is also a group in RP about the course called the Urban Mobility Breachers Course. That should be a good resource for you.

I did, thanks!

Thanks I've looked at both sites already! Looking to get some insight from anyone whose recently attended the course!
