I am reclassing from 12C to 68C. I just signed my contract a couple days ago, so I do not have orders yet, but I do have an ATRRS slot for both phases. I am currently stationed in Fort Bliss, married with kids, and I was hoping to come back here for the second phase but I actually got Tacoma, WA. Would it be possible to request a change of location? Also, my younger son is in the EFMP program, so it would be easier to all stay together.
Thank you.

I'm fairly certain all enlisted in all services can use this, they're assoc only, Howeverx they serve all enlisted in all services, I've read, you should call them, also, elaborate if you can, are you associates now? Are you bachelors now or headed that eau? Are you LPN now? Are you headed for 2 yr RN or 4 yr RN? What are you ultimately seeking? MSN? NP? PA? PhD? Go into considerable more detail, explicit coursework, GPA, etc., the more you list, the more we can all try to help, I have thoughts, it'd just help to kmow more, OK?

This just got endorsed by the Vatican, they have assoc and bach in health sci, along with comp sci and bus admin, not that you'd want those, they dont have nusprsing yet, they also have an MBA, I've read good things, Howeverx they're not a panacea, they're recognized by DETC, formerly NHSC, which is not a regional accreditor, however, is Federally recognized, I'm unsure if the svcs, VA, or industry accept them yet, they charge no tuition, however, they charge for admin and exams, though they just started taking transfer credit, you'd need to check to see how valid the health sci programs could benformyouz remember, they're not nursing, they're essentially bio/premed level I've gathered....

If you've never called them, they have a toll free, with an excellent nursing group, all the way to BSN and MSN as well as NP, they were part of thee NYS Educ Dept, then privatized, I got a 2nd bach in math through them, a friend also got a bach in math under them while they were called USNY RCD/RED under NYSED, then went Navy OCS using it, they're very real, with a natl network of training mentors, as well as an extensive computerized testing program, very military friendly, Navy even had or has a special arrangement with them for the Navy nuclear enlisted program, to award a block of credits, trust me, well worth the time, honest....

So the classes all go together. Best chance you have to see if you can work it out to where you don't report until the bliss phase 2 report date. Otherwise, you will be in holdover status until that class which will be months (Not recommended because phase 2 is still another 9 months). Good luck. The course isn't too bad just extremely long and mostly IET soldiers straight from basic.

So what you are saying is that my class will all go from Fort Sam for the first phase to Fort Lewis for the second one all together?

Unless someone gets flagged or you can otherwise get it worked out to wait for a secific location but phase 2 locations only start at certain times. They don't continually accept trainees

They rotate phase 2 locations by class. One will go to Walter Reed and a month later the next graduating class will stay at BAMC (my class), a month later is Fort Lewis and so on

Where are you trying to go back to? And are you trying to factor EFMP into your request to change locations?

I am trying to do phase 2 in Fort Bliss. And yes, if it helps me to come back to Bliss.

Not sure how much weight the EFMP would carry, since Madigan is a large Medical Center usually capable of providing specialty and sub-specialty services. Now, is there anyone in your cohort that is going to Bliss, and would be interested in going to JBLM?

I would probably have to wait to make it phase 1 at Fort Sam to meet ppeople. My report date is on April.

If second phase is a PCS move, do I have to bring my family with me, or can they stay back. Also, would I be getting paid BAH for my phase 2 duty station? And if I don't bring my family, would I be placed in barracks? Like a Geo Batchelor?
