Would RallyPoint be better if it required an explanation when a member down votes?

This does not appear to be a constructive post, nor a productive action, which is why I voted this response down. Voting either up or down because "it was there to do" is not something I would expect from a mature service member. 

I would like to think that his point was to prove how dumb the down vote feature is anyway, but I don't think I can give anyone who does it just to do it that much credit.

Major Weiss I actually laughed out loud when I saw that in the most tactful, professional way possible you explained why you voted down his response. 

Thank you SFC Markley.  I am curious however with your reasoning.  One question....did you notice anything else there was to do?  Just trying to understand your thought process since you exposed it.
