Would the military remain efficient or even improve without officers? Keep it professional gentlemen!

I would say we could do with a lot less but overall they have a use. We could do without a lot of personnel in general. We could use the Bobs from Office Space to weed out some trash. If the army would push to better educate NCO's we could eliminate a lot of Officer jobs. Unfortunately there are too many of my peers that can't lump words together to make coherent sentences.
