Pairing wounded warriors with wolves? Who thinks of these things? Maybe it's creativity. Maybe it's divine inspiration. Still, if it works, and apparently it does in the cases presented in this video, let's just accept it and be grateful.

I would; Captain.
For one thing I was very abused as a child. But there was one thing that my mother did do for me: she let me play outside with my sister. I tell people that "I grew up with wolves." I am kidding; but actually not. There were wolves; near the hill where my sister and I played. (We were not in danger.)
So, I played outside in nature- my first love. (After my sister, of course.)
Also, I have PTSD. I Adore my cat. I lay my head down on her to relieve stress.

I understand abuse. My father had been a heavy weight prize fighter and he knew how to use his hands. I too escaped outdoors. During the winter, when trapped inside, my father and I were like the opposite poles on a compass. Today, my wife is my "cat".

Would you be willing to lie down with wolves to cope with PTSD?

Many canids that have been trained or are naturally vicious, can be trained to be gentle, loving animals. Still, wild animals are very difficult to domesticate, and it's not really a wonderful idea...
