Is it better to hold out for the job that you love that may make you good money, or if the opportunity presents itself, go for a job that you could like that will good money, enough that you can live the life you want. I love my Army job, but the civilian side leaves alot to be desired. I have wanted to get back to being a government Scientist, but with cuts... Any thoughts?

Funny that you ask this question on a site for veterans. You don't get rich in the military, so most of us loved the job because it certainly didn't pay well. Loving what you do is the most important thing in a job. Great pay may provide some level of gratification but at some point you will become bored, stressed or both if your job is something you don't enjoy doing.
