Would you recommend upgrading ones 802.11n wireless router for a 802.11ac router? Why or why not?

I personally would wait until the technology is a little more mature. Right now, you are paying a premium for the latest and greatest shiny. That being said, if you are like me, and are fascinated by shiny new things, it is time to upgrade.

Like the article says. Should you upgrade? Depends on your situation? Do you have a few devices? Or do you have several devices plus some kind of network storage?

SGT (Join to see) - I was recently looking into this because of my phone and the 5g band is faster and cuts inteference from neighbors and such. I think dual band makes it compatible for 5 and 2.5. So devices play a role as I ethernet my comp for games. I bet the wifi is something you want too. My ISP modem and how that works led me to believe that the most important thing won't be the modem, rather the router, unless the modem is cap at a lower speed which makes no sense if from isp. Getting just a router will reduce price but hey there are some fancy routers. Most newer devices like smartphones are 5g should get the most and cut through everyone else weak 2.5g.
Regardless the advertisements on site still bog down loading times! Heres a screenshot of a speedtest I take right now(supposed to be 150 but like 5g prob not many others around!):
