I quit eating dairy on a regular basis after a personal fitness trainer/nutritionist told me that my cystic acne was likely caused by it. She pointed out that if my face is inflamed, then imagine how inflamed the rest of my body is. In one month, my years of breakouts cleared up and stayed gone. She would also pinch nine areas of my body, and could always tell when I cheated with pizza even a week after eating it. She also advocates cutting out gluten and eggs, but I've only managed to cut back on them.

Good for you! If those suggestion work, go for it. No sense in suffering any longer. Very simple things to do on your part. I am of the opinion that a great deal of good can be done with proper diet and readjusting a diet to eliminate a lot of 'unhealthy' foods, or foods which do not agree with you any way shape or form. I was able to lower my cholesterol and high blood pressure by diet and exercise. Also eliminated dairy products finding out I was lactose intolerant after about 25 years helped a great deal.
