Sgt Wayne Wood - Yep, I should have a semicolon between rights and you, but I don't.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but at the time the 2nd Amendment was written, weren't ALL firearms "military-style"?

No, no, no. You're not a liberal so you can't use the "When the second amendment was written" argument to benefit your argument!

Turn it around.....When the 2nd Amendment was written, most of our troops (militia) provided their own weapons.

MAJ Ron Peery - Exactly my point. There was no difference between military and civilian firearms. Even artillery/cannon were privately owned.

LTC (Join to see) I am glad that I don't live in a fucktarded state where the government limits rights and the people are too blind to see that government doesn't understand restraint and limitations. Where they restrict one right they will eventually move against others. Amendment one is the right to have an opinion and a voice in matters of government. Amendment two is the right to defend that voice and opinion should the government say no more bad opinions will be tolerated.

Thankfully Florida is moving in the opposite direction.
