Can sharing a news article on Facebook violate Article 88 of UCMJ?

I've noticed this on Facebook. An Army officer shared an article from New York Times. A soldier pointed out Article 88 of UCMJ. I don't see how that would apply in this case because there were no contemptuous words used by the original Poster. I've researched this a bit and tried to look at past cases but does this example violate Article 88?

I would say no, but I'm thinking an Army officer should be a lot more circumspect on social media too.

I agree but isn't he following in the same direction of POTUS.

I make a general rule to not Facebook friend anyone I currently work with (most of the time).
I also have nothing military in my cover or profile photo to ensure no one thinks I'm in the / representing the Army.
I'm also glad Social media wasn't around when I was Enlisted / a Jr Officer.

This may not apply in this context as the link shared by this officer is to a news article, not to a political party, campaign or anything of partisan nature right? I do however agree with both the points made by 1SG (Join to see) though.
