Has your military experience inspired you to get a tattoo?

36% of service members and veterans have tattoos, and more than half of them got their tattoos before deploying. Did you get a tattoo after you joined the military? What inspired you to get one or more?

After I joined I actually had money to afford quality tattoos, besides the stuff I was getting in my boy's basement

I was about to get one and then the new 670-1 came out, but I'm still going to get it just trying to find a good artist

Never had the urge while I served. But now have three since I retired and working on a forth all military related. In my mind it helps me remember and stay close to what I miss.

Never had a trooper get a tattoo, did have a young private get his privates pierced. Dummy video taped it, showed it to everyone in the shop, I never knew there was ever that shade of white, LOL

Not going to lie; I've thought about it long and hard. If I get one I want it to symbolize my entire time I spent in. Not sommthing I choose out of a book and get stenciled. Then theres the quality of the artist as well. Gotta look around, compare.
