How was your military service beneficial to your career in sports entertainment? How was it a drawback?

I get asked this question a lot. Two things that have been beneficial are. 1) Being able to adapt on the fly is one of the more crucial tools to have in this business. Things change constantly for tv whether its verbiage for a promo or time cuts / adding of time for a match. 2) Just being able to be patient for things and enjoy the hurry up and wait process.

Love Steve, great guy. Who is one wrestler or tag-team, past or present, that you would love to have a PPV headline match with...and would there be stipulation? (HIAC, Ladder, TLC, etc).

For a tag match it would be myself and Wesley Blake vs Edge & Christian in a TLC match. For a one on one match, I love to challenge John Cena “Actual Marine vs The Marine”

Well this is a pretty great opportunity! My two questions for you are, even though you perused your dream as a professional wrestler and sports entertainer do you find yourself missing being in the Marine Corps? Also... can y’all plan an event at Fort Campbell!?

I miss the marine corps all the time. Mainly the comradery in the field and barracks life. Best thing about it though is a wrestling locker room is very similar. We all grind together and just want to put on the best show possible and get home. Just like being deployed in a sense. You want to complete the mission to the best of your ability and get everyone home.
