SGT Cynthia Anthony
Good Morning. I have so much to ask you that I don't even know where to start. I guess I'll start with Army discharges. I have been trying for 27 years to get my discharge upgraded. I do not even know what to do anymore. I went to my congressman office here in Columbus, Georgia with little assistance. Can you help me? [login to see] if you can because I am out of options at this point. Thank you sir.

SHT Anthony I am sorry you are in such a predicament. There is a process to correct the records and my recommendation is to research how it works and where you can get help.

Whats your opinion on the Army not allowing beards? Also are you enjoying the civilian life?

What do you think about beards? My opinion is that it is one more gray area subject to interpretation that some SGT will have to sort out and enforce. Life is great in retirement!

Well the Army pre WW1 allowed beards and didnt have any problems with them until chemical weapons were used so I would say shave while deployed but beards allowed during garrison. Since beards are currently allowed for religious purposes why not allow it for all. Problem is people dont see beards as proffesional, I think thats just nonsense.

There was a picture of Army Troops with the caption stating the flag was not displayed properly. Can you tell me why the stars should not be facing forward on the right sleeve?

TSGT Dalton I don't know what photo you are referring to but the flag is portrayed on the shoulder sleeve of uniform as the Army has been for 242 years-always moving forward.
