Mitch I'd like to known why in 2014 you hijacked the Veterans Health and Benefits and Military Retirement Pay Restoration Act by attaching an amendment to the bill which would have levied sanctions on Iran.

To refresh your memory, this bill, proposed by Senator Bernie Sanders, was a piece of sweeping legislation that would have expanded healthcare and education for veterans. After clearing a procedural vote by a 99-0 margin, argument began over the proposed amendments, and Republican Senators took to the floor to raise concerns over the cost of the bill; it was then ultimately defeated with 41 of 45 Senate Republicans voting against the bill.

My family has served in every war since this country became a nation, I myself have served in two of them, and I'd like a valid reason to give my children as to why we, as Veteran's, are consistently screwed over by the "Grand Ole Party".

What are you doing to allow service members to carry personal concealed weapons on military installations? All the good bills are stuck in the Armed Services Committee and denied by Senator McCain.

What has the GOP received in compensation for concessions made to the White House ever since they won a majority in both houses of Congress? We understand that legislating is a game of give and take. It's evident what we've given, budget concessions and the like. What we haven't seen are the concessions from the White House. Could you cite some examples?

There needs to be a VA overhaul right now. I'm personally afraid to make any appointments, because I might get misdiagnosed by someone who doesn't have to care. You have done nothing about this problem up to now, or worse. What would it take for something truly meaningful to happen in the next week? There should be no excuse for delay on this, even the election races.

Sir,

Thanks for the time you set aside for the RP Community.

Question: Do you think that the Command in Chief should be a Military Veteran to be an effective President?

As a Veteran who lives in Montana and voted for Donald J. Trump. Why are you and Paul Ryan not endorsing Donald J. Trump? We the American Voters decided on who we want for President of the Republic of the United States of America not you the elitist in Washington D. C. the cesspool of this Republic. You had 17 Candidates running on the Republican ticket we the Voters decided on who we wanted and it was Donald J. Trump not some insider from Washington D. C. who is already bought and paid for by foreign Governments, Corporations or Lobbyists.

The American Voters are feed up with the lies and backroom dealings going on between the Democrats and RINO's of Congress since both parties are now one and the same. You had the House and Senate but you have not carried through on any promises your group told the Voters you would do. Instead you gave in to Obama and his lies.
One other thing I want to bring up with you. You're telling the American Voters who have worked all their lives for this Republic and paid taxes to support the Government that we have the money to "relocate" and "resettle" an undetermined number of "refugees" from the middle east. But not enough to supply our Senior Citizens who paid into it all their working days with a cost of living increase? Then Congress has the nerve to give themselves a pay raise and Obama and his wife want an increase of their money when they leave the White House. Why not make it where none of you in Congress or the White House get a raise what so ever until you produce the results this country needs. McConnell you and Paul Ryan need to wake up and smell the coffee the Americans across the Republic are feed up with your lies and want to see a change. Stop the lies now. We have no respect for people who make being a politician a career as you, Clinton, Reid, Pelosi, Boxer, Cruz, Feinstein and others who have sold out the Constitution of the Republic and the Bill of Rights of the Republic of the United States of America. Remember incase you have forgotten the Constitution does not state: WE THE GOVERNMENT or WE THE ELITIST or WE THE CAREER POLITICIANS it states the following: We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. It states WE THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES....

Why is the VA not letting my brother-in-law get the knee replacement he needs for his right and left knees.. His knees do not bend he walks stiff legged and falls often. When going up of down stairs he has to lift and pull on his pant legs to go up or down steps. Should be a no brainier when you see him walk that his knees do not work and have not worked for 3 years and are getting worse. He was told he is not old enough to get knee replacement surgery. A Marine who was wounded in combat on more than one deployment should not have to beg or wait for what he is owed. His quality of life sucks!

I would like to know, why does the military retire active duty Soldiers at less than 20 years when they have been medically certified as unfit for duty. While at the WTU at JBLM, I met a active duty SSG being Medically discharged at 19.5 years service. He's not eligible for concurrent pay of any sort, c'mon, the small amount of Soldiers drawing both from the VA and Active duty retirement is a drop in the bucket, give them a break.

Under the watch of the last few Republican Congresses, our combat arms were systematically emasculated by Secretaries Panatta and Maibus with little resistance, quantifiably increasing deployment costs, and reducing combat survivability, readiness and efficiency not to mention the adverse effects on moral, retention, the culture, and discipline, .etc. These effects are well documented by DOD studies since the early 90's so they aren't credibly refutable and references can be quickly cited.

I have a son who is an armored crewman the army, so the pacivity with witch this was allowed to happen is concerning. Since the political class seems to be operating under the political delusion that we are no longer a biologically dimorphic species and physiologically identical, how soon, in the interest of equal protection will my daughter be required to register for selective service after achieving eligibility as my sons were compelled to?
