Given your no vote and statement on the sequester legislation in 2013, including a reference to 1.8 trillion in cuts recommended by the Citizens Against Government Waste, what specific cuts in other departments, services, expenditures, do you support in order to make even more meaningful cuts to federal spending other than the military?

Senator Ted Cruz. As our nation looks on at the deliberate hostile actions of North Korea, in my opinion the real threat is China. North Korea fluffs its feathers while they realize big brother China is right behind them. How will your administration tackle North Korea and maintain China's support while they hold back their little brother.

In modern war technology science plays a bigger factor than ever before in the history of mankind. We have no choice but to assist our nation by developing the most effective defense techniques and also the most effective and, therefore, most destructive aggressive war weapons.
Unfortunately in the past years both DARPA and DOD experienced sever budget cuts... What is your policy on R&D expenditure?

Do you stand behind the veterans of this country, or behind refuges?

In a country with such wealth as ours there is no reason to choose, and no reason to pit various well-deserving groups against each other. If every Christian with an annual income over 1 million took in a refugee child, there wouldn't be a single kid waiting in a detention center. This whole veterans vs. disenfranchised minorities, veterans vs. refugees, veterans vs. welfare recipients is a farce designed to distract us from the real enemy.

PO2 Lisa Thomas - Sure, right after all our citizen children are adopted. We give more attention to illegals and refugee than our own people.

Senator Cruz, thank you for taking the time to consider our questions. At this point in the election cycle, it seems almost a statistical certainty that Donald Trump will win the nomination because the majority of the Republican vote in each state is divided among the other candidates. However, if either you or Senator Rubio were to leave the race, he could be defeated easily. A partnership between the second- and third-place candidates would make it possible to overthrow his juggernaut campaign and prevent either a Trump or a Clinton presidency. Without such a partnership, the Republican party (not to mention conservatism) doesn't stand a chance. Are your platform and Senator Rubio's so ideologically different that the two of you would jeopardize the future of our nation by not striking a deal? Or is it possible that one of you could become the other's running-mate, compromising on some of the smaller issues so that you could protect our most essential values? Simply put, which is more important: your political aspirations or defending the Constitution?

Senator, you have been a huge proponent of States rights, as they should be, but I live in California which is engaging in nothing short of tyrannical and unconstitutional actions against my parental and 2nd amendment rights. Such as forced vaccinations and CA AB-1014 Gun Violence Restraining Order (GVRO) which violates our 2nd and 6th amendments. California, like many states, are bent on not only violating, but completely taking away our 2nd amendment rights. In cases like this what would you do as president when a state decides to violate the constitution?

Senator Cruz,
In the past several years, we had a "Russia Reset" in diplomatic relations which many consider to have been a failure due to tensions with placement of missile defense systems in Europe, Russia's aggressive military actions in Crimea and Georgia, polarizing policy with Syria with Russia bombing moderate factions backed by the US, and the offering of NATO membership to Ukraine and Georgia. Some have even called this the start of a new Cold War.

Would you continue our policy of being the protector of Europe when even most of our European NATO allies don't meet the 2% GDP defense spending requirement of the alliance, and how would you deal with our current antagonistic relationship with Russia as President?
