America now faces a momentous decision. Almost a decade of irresponsible defense cuts has slashed the number of combat personnel, seriously degraded their combat readiness, and shrunk the size of our military below any reasonable standard. If America continues to lead from behind, we will lose the ability to guarantee our safety at home and abroad.
Our all-volunteer force deserves better. They deserve a leader who will provide them with the finest weapons systems and the best training. They deserve the full and unapologetic support of their Commander-in-Chief, not a minimal commitment and overly restrictive Rules of Engagement.
Furthermore, Americans make up the finest military professionals and veterans in the world, and they deserve an investment in their careers, their health, and their families. We must honor of our military members, families, and veterans by ensuring they receive the respect and care they have earned.
Under focused, new leadership, America can, and will, rebuild our military and take care of our veterans.

Are there any good reasons to vote for Cruz that Trump his apparent win-at-all-costs tactics that I see as a lack of character and integrity? Sorry. "Diminish" wasn't the right word and no, an arrogant bully no one will follow isn't much better candidate for president.

$20 TRILLION IN DEBT is crippling our interest rates, currency and ability to save or invest. The TSP (Thrift Savings Plan) can't do what it's designed to do because of this, because capitalism can't work as designed under a TAX CODE THAT DOOMS US ALL by punishing our success.
PAST THE POINT OF NO RETURN - As fast as this enormous debt is growing, there is NO WAY to cut spending ENOUGH, and/or even raise taxes enough to avert a financial crisis.
HUCKABEE WAS RIGHT - A "flat tax" is REGRESSIVE. Instead of espousing another vague campaign promise, why not support the EXISTING FAIR TAX BILL in Congress that is ready to pass? The FAIR TAX is better because it effectively eliminates the IRS, converts a debt-based economy into a savings-based economy, restores outsourced American manufacturing jobs, SOLVES IMMIGRATION, and could even pay for Obamacare, by changing the rules of the game entirely.
WE ARE BROKE - Nothing that any candidate is talking about; NONE of the other questions here on this forum mean ANYTHING if America collapses financially before any of the other *answers* given to the questions here can be *honestly* financed...
_Repeal the 16th Amendment - eliminate the unconstitutional "WAGE TAX", death tax, payroll tax, etc.
_Pass the FAIR TAX
_Pass a BALANCED BUDGET Amendment
Get this ONE THING RIGHT, and you will have RESCUED the entire country!

Do you support a Congressional declaration of War on World Terrorism, or would you seek Congressional approval for stepped up Presidential War Power actions (other than carpet bombing) against World Terrorism, esp in the Mid East, and what is your position on what is your long term strategy to fight world terrorism which would justify a Congressional declaration or increased Presidential war powers on your part.

Some people feel you are so extreme in your ideological political beliefs and positions, that you will not, or have not done much of anything to compromise with the current President and the other party on major issues, to the extent of shutting down the government. On what issued of disagreement do you see real possibilities of yo personally compromising with the other party short of giving up your basic principles?

In addition to not providing a path to citizenship for illegal aliens/immigrants, what is your position on current programs for the deportation of the millions of undocumented migrants who are currently residing in the country and how would you strengthen deportation programs?

Tom, I would like to hear a complete answer to that question from each and every one of the candidates, with sufficient time to provide details. And a promise to turn the helm over to the VP, if they do not carry out, within the limits of Executive Poser, to carry out those promises. One of the few leading questions so far, that is truly valid and not asking for him to tee up the ball, for someone to take a swing at.
