America now faces a momentous decision. Almost a decade of irresponsible defense cuts has slashed the number of combat personnel, seriously degraded their combat readiness, and shrunk the size of our military below any reasonable standard. If America continues to lead from behind, we will lose the ability to guarantee our safety at home and abroad.
Our all-volunteer force deserves better. They deserve a leader who will provide them with the finest weapons systems and the best training. They deserve the full and unapologetic support of their Commander-in-Chief, not a minimal commitment and overly restrictive Rules of Engagement.
Furthermore, Americans make up the finest military professionals and veterans in the world, and they deserve an investment in their careers, their health, and their families. We must honor of our military members, families, and veterans by ensuring they receive the respect and care they have earned.
Under focused, new leadership, America can, and will, rebuild our military and take care of our veterans.

The idea was sound for this request, but it has become a Cruz Pinata fest. Most of the statements/questions add nothing to the advancement of knowledge that we are trying to determine. Knowing the staff and leadership of RP, you all realize this and will use the ones that will be of value and not turn off anyone else who may want our input.

Here's a question:
I am tired of politicians pandering to groups of people; creating a victim class simply to get votes, and then not delivering on any of those promises, or even worse compromising on their alleged "beliefs" in order to reach across the aisle to get consensus with the other party. Most conservatives feel this way and have abandoned the establishment GOP. The fact that Trump is extremely popular with frustrated, but not very well informed, voters shows the level of anger conservatives have with the establishment GOP. We can't find a home as a libertarian and we are sick and tired of those we support "reaching across the aisle", only to have their hand slapped. We don't want somebody who is going to compromise on principles and the constitution.
What are you going to do to show voters that adherence to the Constitution is the best way to limit government and foster economic and social success?

How will you prepare our military for future threats instead of only looking at the present? Will we be able to face a conventional force or respond to cyber attacks of the future with our current focus being solely on unconventional warfare?

Veterans more than anything want to come home and contribute to their community. How would you fix the out-processing training that service members are provided to better open up jobs for them?

Would you be open to providing Vets the ability to go to any doctor they wish and it not cost them co-pays and cost for prescription drugs. If you eliminate all cost to vets using their own doctors, you could shut down the VA.

I love the idea of increasing military spending to make sure that as a country we have a strong defense and the ability to project around the globe if needed. However what would be you plan to Make sure money is not being wasted on frivolous projects like the F-35 program?
