America now faces a momentous decision. Almost a decade of irresponsible defense cuts has slashed the number of combat personnel, seriously degraded their combat readiness, and shrunk the size of our military below any reasonable standard. If America continues to lead from behind, we will lose the ability to guarantee our safety at home and abroad.
Our all-volunteer force deserves better. They deserve a leader who will provide them with the finest weapons systems and the best training. They deserve the full and unapologetic support of their Commander-in-Chief, not a minimal commitment and overly restrictive Rules of Engagement.
Furthermore, Americans make up the finest military professionals and veterans in the world, and they deserve an investment in their careers, their health, and their families. We must honor of our military members, families, and veterans by ensuring they receive the respect and care they have earned.
Under focused, new leadership, America can, and will, rebuild our military and take care of our veterans.

Would either you or Mr. Rubio consider stepping down in order to win against Donald Trump? Both of you poll extremely well against him individually, but the votes are usually split between you and Mr. Rubio when all three candidates are in the pot. In order to defeat Donald, yours and Mr. Rubio's votes need to be combined. Could either one settle for serving as the other one's VP?

Senator, you've talked a fine game about chopping out bloat from the federal government bureaucracy--- whole needless agencies gone, et cetera--- and strengthening our military. But part of strengthening a weak organism is shedding deadweight as well as adding muscle. What are your plans, if any yet, for cutting bureaucratic bloat in the military and the DoD?

Sen. Cruz, what are you going to do for all veterans stationed at Ft Mc Clellan, Al as well as family members, and civil servants who were poisoned there. The Chemicals didn't just disapate into the air on December 31 1970 as the VA Claims. People are sick and dying because of Ft. McClellan, and I almost forgot The MONSANTO plant that was outside the gates located in Anniston, Al.

The Pentagon stated in the Congressional Report "National Security Implications of Climate-Related Risks and a Changing Climate” that Climate Change is:
"an urgent and growing threat to our national security, contributing to increased natural disasters, refugee flows, and conflicts over basic resources such as food and water"
As a presidential candidate, what is your plan to address climate change?

Good Day Senator Cruz,
Thanks for coming on the site. As a home owner and a service member, I have been forced to move from my home several times due to PCS orders. With the housing market issues, it's hard to find tenants or sell our homes high enough to pay off the mortgages. So I have to maintain two households. I have been battling with the banks for several years to get some interest rate reliefs, but none of the Government programs are helpful to me as a SVM. Most of the programs require the home to be your primary residence. The problem is, you have to be physically living in the property to qualify as primary residence... a loophole for the banks not to assist. I cannot live in the house while on USS Always Gone, and the banks don't care. Also, the SCRA benefit allows SVM to obtain 6% interest rates, but the catch is, the debt must be incurred prior to military service. Considering no SVM (very few at best) purchase their homes prior to joining the military, what can you do, if elected CIC to resolve this issue.

Senator Cruz - as a government civilian and reservist, the rise in costs for medical, food, and overall life have become overbearing. Recent 1% pay raises for government employees have not kept up with the national averages, especially in the cyber realm, forcing many to seek external employment for better wages. What is your plan to get federal employees and military members back into a modest salary, commensurate with current living requirements for the US? When will the effects of sequestration be lifted off the civilian workforce? What is your long term plan for a financially stable America? Is this a year to year plan, or do you have a short, intermediate, and long term goal? Can we have coffee and talk when you come to San Antonio?

In regards of the Department of Veteran's Affairs! What and when are they going to address revamping the horrid VA Claim's system? Health care is only half the issue with the VA! The Claims system needs to be addressed also and seems it never is?
