I am a 100% disabled vet and I am not allowed to make any extra income. Then how can a 90% disabled vet can make any amount of money they want. Trying to live on the 100% is not enough money to try and live. Why can 100% disabled vet get more money each month. I know a guy who is 90% disabled and make 26 bucks an hour. Not fair

Unless you are receiving compensation for unemployability there is likely not a prohibition to you working. You may want to confirm your individual situation with the Benefits Administration by calling [login to see] where a representative with access to your file should be able to tell you if working would jeopardize your benefit or not.

I am 100% service connected and I am not allowed to make any extra money. I have checked with the VA. What I am saying is vets like me have a very hard to to make a living with the money we get. We need more money each month to make our lives better. should not have to think about turn the A/C down or the heat up and also eat cheap food that is not good for you. The VA needs to give 100% disabled Vet more money.

Why won't the VBA and BVA take a more proactive role in resolving the REMANDED APPEALS BACKLOG?? Why ain't the VBA be investigated for corfuption??

VA is working hard to resolve all legacy appeals, included remanded legacy appeals, as part of the Departments legacy reduction plan.

That is very untrue, mine has been tied up there with the VBA and BVA for over 10 years now, 2 BVA hearing and 2 REMANDS, one delay was by the Balt RO, took 6 years just to get the SOC of the original REMAND sent back to you and only after the 2nd REMAND was issued was that complied with. The VBA can't even read a BVA ruling correctly. I can only hope I get it to the Veterans Court. The the Buffalo RO unjustly acted on my remanded appeal, after it was officially sent back/returned to the BVA back in Oct 2019, That was after being tied up for almost a year and a half just at the Buffalo RO after a 10 Month delay at the BVA after a 6 1/2 year delay at the Baltimore RO, due to them refusing to complete the original REMAND. As of yesterday, my remanded appeal set back inline to my 2010 filing date, I am 3817 appeals in front of me with 147,000 behind me. Seems your plan doesn't work, we need accountability at the VBA, this needs to stop.

However not all of those are active, you still have to find a lender for some if not all of the housing loans. As of last year, no lender was doing rehab home loans, so you have to check first, Ok, I have been down that road, so I know, ok

Hi MAJ Craig - You can ask your question by typing it into the "Respond to original question..." box at the top of this page...then click the blue Respond button.

To direct to a particular individual, use the @ symbol, start typing in a name, and select from the drop down list. If the name does not appear, simply address your question to the organization or person you would like to connect with.
