I am a Marine that served in combat in Vietnam during 1966 and 1967. During that time I was wounded three individual times and spent over four months hospitalized. Consequently, because of wounds and diabetes I have been rated a 50% disability compensation. My question is: When I pass away, will my wife receive any part of that compensation?

Resources on Veteran child care: https://freegrantsforveterans.org/child-care-assistance-for-veterans/. Also VBA's Veteran Readiness and Employment program may have limited services to support child care while a Veteran is in school.

I want to get a VA Loan. I have a VA rating of 70%. How can I use my rating to get approve? They require you to have employment. But I am still going to the VA for treatment and I am unable to work? Can I use my rating to get approve?

Are there financial resources for installation of a home generator? i am a c3/4 complete spinal cord injured non service connected veteran. along with the usual medical equipment - ie, power chair, hospital bed, mattress, suctioning machine, etc, i use a ventilator at night. my spinal cord injury also makes me subject to autonomic dysreflexia, a life threatening condition. if my house gets too hot, this could be triggered. my va doctor has agreed that a home generator is necessary, however i was told the va could not provide the generator. i could apply for a hisa grant, but 2,000 covers about one fifth of the cost. any leads or suggestions for financial assistance is greatly appreciated.

LTC Hugo Lentze - I finally figured that out. A lesson for us all for next time. I will say as a soft suggestion...doing things this way does not feel conducive to a safe and trustworthy experience. I can log in to any online forum (TMobile, Facebook, etc.,) type in a question that generates an automatic response from a computer. Actually many times it will say "They can't find or understand my question". Incredible feat still but very uncomfortable in that the poster did not explain any of this. Look at how many people were lost in trying to log in?
