This is so amazing that even during a rough time in World History that these grateful companies are still seeking veterans to fulfill their highly demanding positions! I hope that on June 16th that I’m able to express my extensive professional experience and education to these highly decorated managers and supervisors to be able to transition to a more stable career path here in the San Antonio, TX area.

I am a Manager in Conduent. USAA is a client of Conduent. I provide client support to USAA. I am a QDRO manager. I am interested in employment with USAA. I live in New Jersey. Can I still live in New Jersey and remotely work in New jersey? Rather than relocate to Texas?

All open job requisitions are available on http://www.usaajobs.com. If you type in "remote" in the keyword search, then those jobs that have remote opportunities will be displayed. Be sure not to have a city identified in the location field. If you find a role that fits your skillsets and is remote, then you are welcome to apply for that role. You should apply as soon as you are able because jobs typically only stay on the job board for approximately 7-10 days (on the average) or until there is enough talent that has applied for the role.

New Question. Why Walmart would NOT hire me as a driver? Walmart claims they hire veterans but my military experience is not enough for them. I have a CDL A with HazMat endoresement and a clean record. I applied and they would NOT hire me. I live in Long Island NY and I am looking for a job at any of their near by locations. Walmart if you care for this veteran like you claim you do, my point of contact is Manuel Flores [login to see]

Hello Col Brynt Parmeter,
I already applied filled up an application for a driver position at Lake Grove NY Walmart and was turned down for the lack of experience. My military experience didn't count even dough I have all the qualifications for the job. I have a CDL-A with HazMat endorsement and tank. If you can help me get in I would greatly appreciated from a 22 year veteran in the US Navy. [login to see]

These are great opportunities for any veteran but I have worked for Walmart and it's not a very good place to work for. Since I left in 2013 I have only seen 3 people in our super center that were there when I was there. The rest of the people had left and when I ask them why? Because Walmart treats its employees like dirt; at least in my town. Not even a single manager still exists from when I was there. Is it a job? Sure. But is is no career unless you like being treated like dirt. Maybe corporate is different? idk but I wouldn't be willing to find out.

Hi Daniel, this doesn't sound like a good experience. We're very proud of our veteran and military spouse associates and many of them make excellent careers with Walmart. Please check into https://careers.walmart.com/ if you'd like to explore ways to rejoin our great team.

Do any of your companies/organizations hiring parameters include my 20+ years experience within the logistics and transportation industries with both domestic and international focus? My experience
covers multi modal between , truck, air and ocean. Vast knowledge negotiating ocean, air freight and air charter and trucking rates domestically/worldwide. This experience covers both full container loads, less than container loads and full and split charter air rates and tariffs. I have excellent inter-personal skills and I am focused working with disciplined teams for completion of goals for on-time performance within service, pricing, vendor solution levels.

Absolutely! Depending on your skillset, we always have needs for IT trained individuals. The best bet is to search for a role that matches your skills by using keywords at jobs.amazon.com. For example, if you have logistics or air rates, try searching for those 1st.

I would like to return to work and I worked for the Federal government as a military spouse for 13 years, for the State of Oklahoma as a Case Manager for 14 years. I would like to work from home if I could as I have my father who is a Disabled Korean War Veteran that I care for.
