First, why do you want to join? And asking for advice while lying about your employment (and name, I suspect) is not a good way to start. You are not Sponge Bob.

First find out if you are even qualified to enlist, before you get your hopes up. 80% of 18-24 year olds do not meet current enlistment standards.

Not sure how old you are, but if you are a youngin', decisions you make growing up can affect your eligibility when the time comes. Stay out of trouble, stay away from drugs, stay in shape and don't get fat, and graduate high school.
