Lt Col Charlie Brown I have hundreds (in not a thousand) trees on my property! Oaks, maples, Red cedars (very invasive), black walnuts, holly and many other spices. All have their purpose for providing food for the wildlife in addition to providing oxygen.

I have put as many trees in the back yard as will fit - some of which were volunteer, others grown from seed. There is a pleasand shade canopy . . . but love that they produce oxygen and turn CO2 into something more useful for us.

If you have a property situated near a Spring/ swale/ ... Empress Trees grow incredibly quick and will furrow its roots towards any water source. Bad side- this furrowing includes cysterns/ wells/ etc.
but they grow rapidly to a very wide canopy and thickness.
