Trump To Announce New Strategy — And Probably More Troops — For Afghanistan

This is an unwinnable War, no matter how many troops they pour in there.

It's become some kind of a blood sacrifice. The people and culture of that region are inherently hostile to anything America or the West can possibly offer.

Short of Exterminating them all and sowing the ground with salt, there is no way possible to Triumph there.

There is an old saying; "Afghanistan is where Empires go to die".

I am tired of it...I am tired of hearing the word Afghanistan. I am tired of our men and women dying over there and all of our tax dollars getting pissed in the wind. I saw the waste of money while I was there and I just can't justify the money and lives we have spilled over there and for what?
I am not so naive that I think there isn't a valid reason but I can't think of one...and ours is not to wonder why. I have been to that God forsaken country and I just don't know what good we have done or will be doing in the future. In my opinion, there is anything worth one more American life over there. However, I will pat them on the back as they go and pray for all of them while they are gone for their safe return and pray for a quick pull out to our own borders.
