I fought them for 45+ years and finally got help last year in the form of group therapy every other week at the Causeway St VA in Boston. Group of 10 Vietnam Vets with many of the same issues. Wish I had gone years ago. I strongly advise anyone experiencing nightmares or any symptoms associated with PTSD to get professional help. Still have them but it has helped me to cope. Now all I have to do is stop kicking the beejesus out of my wife when I start thrashing around in bed at night.
