Once upon a time, brand names had value. Generic brands were created, and consumers were lured by cheaper prices rather than promises of quality. Welcome to another time. Now, brand names are disappearing in the name of racial equality and I'm left to wonder, will I now have to sacrifice both price and quality? (What brought this on? I hear you cry. Well, I just saw an announcement that Uncle Ben is joining Aunt Jemima in retirement...)
