Katherine Harnett began her career as a Field Artillery Captain in the U.S. Army, building a strong foundation in leadership, operational planning, and crisis management. Today, she is continuing her mission of service by pursuing a Master’s in Foreign Service at Georgetown University, concentrating in Global Politics and Security.

With a focus on counter-narcotics, anti–money laundering policy, and disrupting transnational criminal networks, Katherine is dedicated to strengthening national security through evidence-based policy and financial crime prevention. Her commitment to service extends beyond the classroom through volunteer leadership supporting literacy initiatives in New York City.

Through our SoldierScholar program, SoldierStrong is honored to help Katherine take the next academic step forward, removing financial barriers so she can continue making a difference long after her military service.
