Per the policy I last read...if they have a FLAG due to failure of an APFT prior to the ACFT implementation, then IOT get that FLAG removed a Record APFT must be taken and passed.

SFC Luke Anderson - Yes. Even though the ACFT is the current Record test, a failed APFT requires a Passing APFT to get a FLAG removed. Personally, I think that's a little stupid

SFC Luke Anderson - The ACFT is not a test of record until 1 APR 2022.

SFC Luke Anderson - The ACFT doesn't count right now though. So that's why the policy has been that until it is official, you take an APFT to remove a flag for APFT failure.

No. In order to remove the FLAG, they must take and pass a record APFT.
SSG 12 B Instructor
From my understanding, no. They have to take and pass the APFT to remove that specific flag.
