If I re-enlist for a specific duty station and haven’t got my orders yet can I lose my spot at that duty station?

So I re-enlisted for a specific duty station and have a projected arrival date that is coming up. I don’t have my orders yet, because S-1 is playing around with my PCS packet and haven’t turned it in. So I’m wondering what happens if I don’t get my orders in time?

If you don't get your orders in time you can request a deferment for a month or two. If you're going OCONUS and have dependents you'll need more time because of EFMP and command sponsorship
