Oh for a strong military leader like General Marshall was in 1939-1945.

We need wise strong military and elected leaders. Without both, we are doomed. People better start thinking seriously about who they are voting for. Just because under President Trump war seemed only like a remote possibility because of his good leadership, the situation can change very quickly with war likely when we have an unwise weal leader loke President Biden.

While I agree that Biden has been slow to react to Ukrainian requests and lack a plan for our involvement there is a lot I disagree with the author of this article.

I don’t know, it seems like a fair article to me. The article highlights 3 critical area that need to be considered: A lack of strategy, Failure to understand the adversary’s mindset and modern warfare, and Reducing US combat readiness as China’s threat looms.

The author points out in strategy that President Biden keeps changing the goal posts. What was ruled out yesterday is OK today with no clear goal to victory. Victory is important, because without that in mind what are we financing? Without victory Russia will wear them down and destroy them because they have better artillery and an air force. The article points out that our tanks without air support will be destroyed with our technology falling into our enemies hands. Lastly the article points out that when we give Ukraine weapons systems, we take away from our strategic stockpile meant to be used where we need it anyplace around the world.

What don’t you agree with in the article. I don’t look for argument, I’m just curious what concerns you.
