Possible outcome for somnambulism is administrative separation for the convenience of the government.
If the somnambulism is associated with a mental health condition, a medical separation is possible.
If the military finds somnambulism is not associated with a service connected mental health condition, it is possible the VA will determine it is developmental, rather than service connected.

If I were sleep walking at all, and particularly in a combat environment I would request medical evaluation and if it could not be stopped to get out of service. Thank you for your service.

Thank you CSM, they are sending me to a medical program in Kuwait for 5 days that might be what you suggested above, I'm not 100% sure.

Sleep walking can be a medical issue. Get it documented.
