Today's NBA would embarrass the old timers -- they would be required to completely change the way they played to be successful. It's comparing apples and oranges.

Agreed. Two different styles. Half court style play back then vs. Fast breaking style now. No 3pt line back then vs. 3pt line now. Bigger, faster players now. Apples and oranges as you said.
