As a 12P, how can I best prepare for the BMST? What advice do you have?

Are their any 12P Soldiers that are willing to help me prepare or provide advice for the BMST. Their is little to no information available online. I'm even considering finding a tutor to help me. My PCS window is in february and I want to make sure I have the packet completed prior too that date. I'm currently stationed at Schofield Barracks and even considered just going over to them and asking but not sure how to go about it.

Study basic algebra, trig, and physics. Also standard mechanical aptitude questions. Just Google sample problems in each subject. As a former 19D who went 12P also you got this!

SSG, is it possible to find out about study material for the school house?
So far I’ve gotten that I need to study the following:
-algebra
-physics
-trig
-electrical & mechanical engineering.
Am I missing anything? This is for preparation AIT.

There's a lot of math in the BMST. If your DEROS is in September 2021 then you are dangerously close to running out of time. You will need to pass the BMST at 70%, have a current PHA, and pass an English test as well. There's a few other requirements but those are the ones that take the longest.

Honestly, going over to the Prime Power guys in Hawaii is a great idea. I’m currently at the schoolhouse and there’s a blackboard preparation class you can enroll into. I’ve been informed that you can access it on the HRC site for 12P. If it’s not there let me know and I can get you the link to enroll into it.

I don’t know the course ID. I was just talking the other day with the academics Chief at the school house about it because I’ve came across a few people on RP asking the same question. If it’s not on the HRC website, let me know. I’ll talk to him on Monday and try to get the link so I can push it to you and anyone else interested.

I tried searching for the associated prep class. There were hundreds that I combed through yet failed to locate it. If you happen across the course ID that would be greatly beneficial.
