Compensation: $20.75/hr. Base - $4.23/hr. Health & Welfare Allowance

Work Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift

Skookum is seeking a reliable and proficient Warehouse Specialist with GCSS-A experience and a professional attitude. The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for the daily operation of the Army STAMIS system Global Combat Support System (GCSS-A).

Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Confers with department supervisors to determine overdue material and parts and to inform supervisors of material status
Locates and distributes materials to specified production areas, manually or using material handling equipment (MHE)
Records and maintains perpetual inventory of quantity and type of materials and parts received, stocked, and distributed, manually or using computer
Compiles and maintains records, such as material inventory records, production records, and timecards, manually or using computer
Reads inventory reports, and work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required, availability of stock, and order priority
Examines material received, verifies part numbers, and checks discrepancies, such as damaged or unmarked parts
Drives truck to outlying work areas to check status of orders or to deliver materials, as needed
Maintains clean and organized work areas throughout facilities.
Assist with snow removal of customer entrances.
Assist with daily cleanup up of assigned areas to include: trash removal, recycling material product and housekeeping functions
Will utilize the Global Combat Support System / Army (GCSS-Army) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System to Receive, Issue and Manage supplies and materials
GCSS-Army certification/experience preferred
Commercial vehicle and OSHA Forklift Operator certification preferred
Must be able to use GCSS-Army output documentation to correctly receive, store, issue, ship, and inspect all material and stocks within the supply division
Must be able to provide proper input information to the GCSS-Army system
Army MOS 92A is preferred or equivalent
Must be able to travel CONUS to Government/Military installations to support military equipment maintenance as required.
Physical Requirements:

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.

Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

Valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Skookum’s insurance carrier.
Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
