Supplier Merch Services Specialist
Providence, RI

PURPOSE:Responsible for the execution and support of the overall supplier dispute process across varied processes and systems for the organization. Establishes professional working relationships with internal and external customers in order to provide timely and accurate resolution, analytics, and reporting.
Job Responsibilities:
Percentage Works directly with internal and external customers, suppliers, brokers, internal departments, etc., to research, resolve, all disputes and passes within multiple systems. 50%
Supports the development and testing of appropriate training and documentation to support all work-related activities. 10%
Coordinates with other internal departments regarding resolution, closing process gaps, and documentation requirements. 10%
Provides support for priority suppliers, which includes dedicated access and support for areas provided. 10%
Effectively tracks tasks to ensure on-time and accurate delivery of agreed upon metrics/deliverables. 10%
Processes entries in multiple systems with a high level of accuracy and timeliness.
Performs other relevant job duties as required
Job Requirments:
Education/ Certifications/or Equivalent combination of education training and experience:
• 2-year degree or equivalent experience.
Experience:
• 1-2 years’ experience in office environment within a related field.
• System knowledge and experience, preferred.
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful and actionable recommendations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively convey information in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong understanding and proficiency of Microsoft Office applications and necessary functions to capture, execute, and translate data.
• Well organized and ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy as accurate review, response, and input of information into multiple systems is critical.
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced and dynamic office environment.
