Working with your direct reports and matrixed reports, you will build a business plan to meet your budget target and monitor that your Field Service Manager (Sales Manager) is implementing to the business plan. Working with the Repair Managers that are matrixed into your position and the direct report Field Support Coordinator, you will ensure the repair projects that are won are safely and profitably completed and invoiced in a timely manner
Responsibilities
Responsible for the safe execution of turbine repair work in your assigned region. The right candidate will embrace corporate safety standards and ensure team members are properly trained and comply with organizational standards.
Profitable execution and timely close out of repair projects in your assigned region
Train and Develop your Field Service Manager to build a business plan to meet budgets including: technician requirements, customer agreements, product capabilities, tool forecasting, and part availability.
Work with the Repair Managers in your region to hire, train, develop and coordinate 20-30 technicians to safely complete all assigned work and meet the necessary skill set demands
Build and foster effective internal partnerships. Interface internal departments to resolve customer concerns. Communicate status of the business within your assigned region to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Develop and mentor managers at Vestas service contract sites to efficiently complete turbine repair work that is out of scope from their service contract. This repair work is generally for major corrective and infrequently completed repairs.
Support organizational continuous quality improvement processes to reduce defects in parts, repairs, and service.
Qualifications:
5 - 7 years of experience as a project manager, project supervisor, or other management experience, in a related service, industrial or manufacturing setting; demonstrated ability to build and direct an ever-growing team / operation.
General technical and managerial background with experience coordinating teams in industrial environment
Valid driver's license, passport, and ability to travel as needed. (up to 25%)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook)
Skilled technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems to develop repairs.
Professional English communications skills (verbal, active listening, written, meeting management, presentation)

Physical Requirements
Ability to complete a 200 - 400 foot pre-employment climb test, pre-employment physical and drug screen, criminal background check, and driving record check.
