Good morning everyone,

I was put on a 90 day MRC3 temporary profile yesterday. I've heard and read that people have had their PCS orders deleted because of that. Does anyone know anything about that? My report date doesn't fall under the 90 window, however if the system branch uses updates with my new profile (no idea how it actually works), would it ping to delete orders?

The MRC3 code can trigger a Medical retention review board. Hopefully the PA does not initiate one. Remember, is based on limitations, and those on profile cannot PCS unless they are 100% deployable.

Thank you for the input 1SG. Would the MRC3 code trigger one even if it is temporary? I do not think my PA would initiate it.

My PCS date is after the 90 days are up (as long as I do not need surgery), so I should be back to being deployable by then. However, since I am "non-deployable" at the moment, would that delete the orders now?

1SG is 100% correct. As long as your Profile does not go past your RPT date you should be GTG.

A MRC3 temp profile does not trigger a Med-Board, however, if you still have a MRC3 profile when you complete your 5118, you won’t be able to clear medical because you have to be deployable when you PCS.

SFC, what if I was placed on an MRC3 temporary profile AFTER completing my 5118?
