Has anyone ever submitted an application for the order of saint Martin? Do you have an example of the writeup that is required?

Yes I have that thank you. I am trying to get mainly an example of the one page write up so I can get an idea of what they are looking for.

I have written a few Order of Samuel Sharpe and Keeper of the Flame nominations. You have to write it like a retirement award as they are trying to see what the person's contribution to the QM Corps has been. For NCOs and JOs, that contribution is largely exemplary performance of duty, reflecting positively on the QM Corps. Stats will help. Here is the secret, the O6/GO who is the senior QM that signs this is going to be what the QM Association board is going to look at. So selling this thing is going to be selling it to the O6.

All previous award bullets are on the table. All previous NCOER/OER bullets are on the table. You need to highlight their proficiency as a QM soldier, leveraging their QM skills to support the mission and save he day.

SSG (Join to see) I will offer to review the one page narrative. Message me if you want to go this route.

SSG Brandon Mayo – Staff Sgt. Jonathan R. Welch, the Combat Service Support Automations Management Office non-commissioned officer-in-charge with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 801st Brigade Support Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division and native of Henderson, Tenn., was awarded the Honorable Order of Saint Martin by Col. Michael P. Peterman, the commander of 101st Sustainment Brigade, 101 Airborne Div. during a ceremony, Jan. 6, 2012 at Fort Campbell, Ky. During Welch's last two deployments to Afghanistan, both with 4th Brigade, Welch maintained 99 percent connectivity within those systems with manpower at 20 percent strength.

The Bottom Line: Whoever submitted the application for Welch to receive the Quartermaster Corps, Order of Saint Martin had confidence in their writing skills to stratify (BusinessDictionary.com, n.d.) Welch's logistical performance (i.e., 99 percent connectivity and 20 percent strength) in the form of an epideictic argument (Nordquist, 2016). I looked forward to helping you but Unfortunately, I just happened upon your RP post today while gathering research material on the Order of Saint Marin for improving Acquisition, Logistics and Technology operations in HUBZone/Department of Justice Programs.

Jonathon Welch was my CSSAMO in the 801st BSB, he worked for me. That was pre-COL Peterman, but I know him too. SPC Menzies was in the BCT PAO who would not have written or likely seen he nomination, but covered the event. COL Peterman would have been the senior QM approval authority as I doubt there was a QM officer senior to him.
