Does a single E-6 Soldier receive BAH while on assignment in Kuwait? I am thinking about taking an assignment, but would like to know the financial aspects of it.

Best thing would be to contact admin personnel there, they will have the most up to date, legal regs. They change a surprising amount.

Are they billeting out in town? Insufficient quarters on-base? If not, I doubt it.

Experience. I was last in Kuwait in early 90's at Doha Port aboard a ship and then ashore. Maybe the USA types know better, but USMC didn't grant BAH/BAS for unaccompanied as long as billeting was available or they were not adequate for the rank. Good luck with it.
