What a shame "under control" means yet another murder / suicide leaving 2 dead to become a statistic in a notebook. The notebook that says, there is not enough help bringing our people home. Then they want to cut benefits yet again...... and manpower.... where does the insanity end?

PO2, once again, you are so very wrong on so many things. Including the VA and the problem issues, budget issues, lack of doctors and other professionals and the forced austerity program from congress and the budget or lack there of which has been a problem from before, during and after Viet Nam War. If you are going to spout facts and figures, once again, please get your facts right and the timeline for issues even more factual. Some people actually read.

Shooting happened around 1600 in the VA next door. We have been under lock down since then (I'm in my office with my door barricaded). News is reporting that the shooter shot a VA doc then shot himself. Shooter is dead, condition of doc is unknown. MPs are clearing the building before they lift lockdown.
