When I went to BLC, all I did was submit a packet with a primary and alternate date(s) to my BN schools NCO and he reserved the course in ATTRS, assuming there were still slots.

I’ve looked all over for MILPERs, updated regulations, and everything in between. I’m being told by BN schools, that now soldiers have to wait for HRC to schedule them BLC, much like ALC -with the OML based off points- is this true? And if so, where can I find this in writing, since apparently I can’t find it on my own. Thanks for any points in the right direction.

Everything I am finding still states that BLC is scheduled at the installation level. I can do some more digging tomorrow to see what else I can find.

SSG (Join to see) - According to the HRC website, scheduling for BLC is done at the installation level except for USAR-AGR Soldiers. Here is the link I am referring to:

SSG (Join to see) - There is a MILPER message, (16-089) about the STEP program, but it pretty much does the same thing. But here is the email address to send an RFI to:

MSG (Join to see) Awesome, I guess I may have over looked that in my research (I’m in a class as well so trying to do both at once). This will help me in dealing with my soldier. Thanks for your assistance.
