Nuke Machinist Mate. Basic description of job, operation, maintenance, and repair of shipboard nuclear systems. I worked the steam side of the propulsion system on the largest nuclear powered ship in the Navy. At least at the time.

Med cruise #3 until Jan. 1980 when we left the Med. to go around Africa to the Indian Ocean during the Iran Hostage Crisis. We were the ship that the helicopters for the rescue attempt launched from.
