Worked in C Company and transferred to HHC S-3 Operations during my first trip to Enewetak Atoll for the 1977-1980 Enewetak Atoll Atomic Cleanup Mission. I was a member of the Advanced Party during my first 5.5 month tdy tour in 1977 preparing construction documents for the Lojwa Basecamp. During my 2nd tdy tour in 1978-1979, I prepared construction documents for the Cactus Crater Atomic Debris Containment Structure on Runit Island. I also performed Battalion mail clerk duties at Enewetak Atoll, Marshall Islands and at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. Awarded the Humanitarian Service Medal for my participation in the 1977-1980 Enewetak Atoll Atomic Cleanup Mission.
