Operated and maintained ASROC ASW weapon. Spent the Summer of 73 in Boston Naval Shipyard, shakedown cruise in GITMO, then deployed to STANAVFORLANT, NATO Cruise. Discharged while ship was still deployed. Left the ship in Den helder, Netherlands. Final discharge at Great Lakes NTC on July 3, 1974.
