Missile Liquid Propellant systems maintenance Specialist
Operated maintained support equipment associated with handling and transfer of missile fuel. Performed propellant transfer operations for Titan II. Had to remove fuel and store in specialized holding trailers. Purge the tanks with heated nitrogen so maintenance could be performed. Uploaded fuel when repairs were completed.
Team Lead Protective Clothing and Equipment. Made ready all life support equipment required for Propellant handling operations. Blended LN2 and LOX for liquid air packs. Supported on site operations. Assisted Techs in donning and doffing rocket fuel handlers clothing outfit. We were the only techs on site without protective equipment. In the event of an emergency it would impede us from aiding others through evacuation. Primary responsibility was safety of others.
