Military Experiences
Mar 1989 - Aug 1991
R&U Team
Started in the AES Platoon in the light parachute shake-out tower. Moved to the heavy parachute side a few months later. Upon completion of a construction project to build an office in the tower I was reassigned by the Co. 1st. Sgt to the R&U team. Time with the R&U team included cross training the Civ. DEH. This included training on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, & carpentry to repair troop barraks.

Operation Desert Shield/Storm
During the Desert Shield portion of the deployment I helped build recreational facilities for the 407th S&T BN, 82nd ABN. Also part of perimeter security force for supply base. During Desert Storm I was drove trucks in the forward operating area.
