During my MD/PhD training, Co founded the first LGBT Community-Based Health Clinic in the US. Went on to show that Hep B was sexually transmitted and was PI of the trial of the first Hep B vaccine,which led to being founding Investigator of the Multisite AIDS Cohort Study (MACS). Research and Clinical focus on drug use led to becoming Medical Cannabis advocate and leader in Community-Based Research
