Infantryman
I joined in January of 2009 went to basic training got to my unit deployed several months later for a year to Kandahar Afghanistan. It was a rough deployment and we took heavy losses. I was in 2nd platoon alpha company in the 1-17 infantry battalion.

Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) - Afghanistan
I was with the 101st I deployed to khost province Afghanistan near the Pakistani border. We were msf platoon which is mobile strike force. We worked along side 1 ranger battalion and 3rd ranger battalion during our deployment. We used a lot of biometrics and took down several networks. It was a successful deployment and we got a lot done.

Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) - Afghanistan
Mission to Kandahar, was in Sha wali kot we got moved around a few times ended up in Helmand province working with marines. Operation Helmand spider. Completing mission we returned to our battalion. We took a lot of casualties but had some success as well.
