Led 25-person training support battalion in charge of training multiple National Guard and Reserve units deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan. Responsible for all aspects of pre-deployment training for supported deploying units. • Led the training of a 400 person air assault battalion within 1 month of arriving at the battalion with 100% turnover of the battalion’s captains and a unit relocation. • Coordinated and executed a 7 day multi-national training mission with the Dutch army, culminating in a 10-ship air assault with four Apaches and four Blackhawk aircrafts. • Completed twice the normal mobilization load while being manned at 35% strength over a year period resulting in being awarded the Meritorious Service Medal.
